Jessica Kramer
My BackgroundI earned my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. At the Montgomery County Commission for Women Counseling and Career Center I worked with men and women experiencing various issues such as verbal and emotional abuse, marital transitions, grief, stress, depression and anxiety. I also worked as a middle and upper school counselor at the Lycée Rochambeau in Bethesda.
My Style and Services
I focus on working with those who wish to reduce the stress in their lives and improve their relationships with partners, peers, extended family members and children. I provide a warm and supportive environment that uses strength-based approaches to achieve real results. Although clients come to me with many different concerns I do specialize in the following areas:
- Improving marital and family relationships
- Parenting challenging children
- Parenting a child with sensory issues or ADHD
- Implementing boundaries with extended family
- Overcoming symptoms of stress and anxiety
- Achieving a healthier relationship with food
- Building self-confidence
- Managing an emotionally abusive spouse
I work with individuals, couples and groups and I see adults and adolescents.
